UniFi Pro HD 24 PoE: what it is & who it's for
Every port is multi-gig and every port is PoE++: 22 at 2.5 GbE, two at 10 GbE, a 600 W budget and four 10G SFP+ uplinks. It is the step past the Pro Max 24 PoE for racks where the fast devices outnumber the slow ones. Racks where most wired devices are multi-gig — Wi-Fi 7 access points, 2.5 GbE workstations, a NAS — and at least one 10 GbE PoE++ access point needs power and speed from the same port.

Verdict
Every port is multi-gig and every port is PoE++: 22 at 2.5 GbE, two at 10 GbE, a 600 W budget and four 10G SFP+ uplinks. It is the step past the Pro Max 24 PoE for racks where the fast devices outnumber the slow ones.
Pros
- All 24 RJ45 ports are multi-gig: (22) 2.5 GbE plus (2) 10 GbE
- PoE++ on every RJ45 port, up to 64 W a port, from a 600 W budget
- Two 10 GbE PoE++ ports, so a 10 GbE access point such as the E7 or U7 Pro XGS gets power and its full uplink on one cable
- Four 10G SFP+ uplinks and a 32,000-entry MAC table, both double the Pro Max 24 PoE, with 230 Gbps of switching against 112 Gbps
- Layer 3, Etherlighting and a USP-RPS input, as on the Pro Max 24 PoE
Cons
- $999 — $200 more than the Pro Max 24 PoE and $300 more than the Pro 24 PoE
- 400 mm deep against 325 mm for the Pro Max 24 PoE, and Ubiquiti lists a supported rack depth from 600 mm rather than 400 mm
- Only two of the 24 RJ45 ports reach 10 GbE; the other 22 stop at 2.5 GbE
- Rated to draw up to 660 W with PoE fully loaded, so check the circuit and the UPS behind it
