Eight gateways span two form factors. On the desktop, the Cloud Gateway Ultra ($129, 1 Gbps IPS, 2.5 GbE WAN) is the entry point; the Cloud Gateway Max ($279) puts every port at 2.5 GbE and takes an NVMe drive for Protect; the Cloud Gateway Fiber ($279) spends the same money on 5 Gbps of IPS, 10G ports, and 30 W of PoE; and the Dream Router ($199) and Dream Router 7 ($279) fold in Wi-Fi 6 and Wi-Fi 7. In the rack, the UDM-Pro ($379, 3.5 Gbps IPS, one drive bay) is the workhorse, the Dream Machine SE ($499) adds 180 W of PoE, and the Dream Machine Pro Max ($599) tops out at 5 Gbps, two bays, and 200+ devices.

The cheapest modern UniFi gateway, and the right answer for most small networks. 1 Gbps of IPS routing and a 2.5 GbE WAN in a fanless puck — but no built-in switch ports beyond four, and no Protect storage.
An all-in-one: gateway, Wi-Fi 6 AP, a 5-port switch with PoE, and a UniFi Protect NVR in one desktop box. Convenient for a first UniFi network, but every subsystem is entry-level and it tops out at 150+ clients.
The rackmount workhorse. An 8-port gigabit switch, a 10G SFP+ WAN and LAN, a 3.5" Protect HDD bay, and 3.5 Gbps of IPS — the most capable gateway here by a wide margin, if you have a rack for it.
The Cloud Gateway Ultra with every port at 2.5 GbE, more than twice the IPS throughput, and a slot for an NVMe drive so it can record Protect cameras. Same fanless desktop shape, $150 more.

The Dream Router with a tri-band Wi-Fi 7 radio, 2.5 GbE throughout, a 10G SFP+ port, and 2.3 Gbps of IPS. It doubles the original's client rating and its Wi-Fi covers 160 m² against 140 m².
The UDM-Pro with 180 W of PoE built in and a 2.5 GbE WAN. Same 3.5 Gbps of IPS and the same 100+ device rating — what the extra $120 buys is the PoE switch you would otherwise rack beside it.
The top of the rack line: 8 GB of memory, 5 Gbps of IPS, two 3.5" drive bays, and ratings for 200+ devices and 50 HD cameras. No PoE, so it assumes a switch beside it.
