UniFi E7: what it is & who it's for
The flagship, and a different class of hardware. Ten spatial streams, 4×4 on both 5 and 6 GHz, and 11.5 Gbps of rated 6 GHz throughput — roughly double every other tri-band AP here. A 10 GbE uplink plus a second 1 GbE port, 1000+ clients and 185 m². At $499 it is $200 over the U7 Pro XGS, and its 43 W is the largest PoE++ draw in the lineup. The one AP in a build that must not be the constraint — dense deployments where 6 GHz headroom, client capacity and a 10 GbE uplink all matter at once, and a PoE++ budget exists to feed it.

- 11.5 Gbps rated on 6 GHz (BW320) — about twice the 5.8 Gbps every other tri-band AP here lists
- Ten spatial streams, with 4×4 on both 5 GHz and 6 GHz
- Rated for 1000+ clients and 185 m² (2,000 ft²) — the highest of the nine
- Two uplink ports: 10 GbE RJ45 alongside a 1 GbE RJ45
- $499 — $200 over the U7 Pro XGS and $220 over the U7 Pro Max
- 43 W needs PoE++ (802.3bt) with real budget behind it
- 250 × 250 × 43.5 mm and 1.8 kg — more than twice the U7 Pro XGS’s 800 g
